Kaatza Station Museum and Archives

A restored Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway station houses this small museum. Most of the exhibits are about the logging industry with an emphasis on the poor working conditions, high rate of injuries and death, and the rise of labor unions. Other exhibits cover mining and pioneer life.

The museum is accessible. A steep ramp accesses the second floor. The windows in the store and cabin exhibits are a little too high for easy viewing of the interiors.
The museum shares a lot with the information center. RVs will fit but it may be easier to park on Point Ideal Drive. Museum 48.8229, -124.05875
