Thetis Lake Campground

  The campground is right next to Thetis Lake Regional Park. It’s a private campground not associated with the park but it is possible to walk to the lake from the campsites. We wanted a campground near Victoria and couldn’t get a site at Goldstream, the closest provincial park, so we stayed here.  We did not check out the campground very well but from what we saw the sites are small and tight and the roads are narrow. We asked for a site near the entrance so that we would have an easy entry and exit. This is a fine campground for smaller RVs (if you want to be close to Victoria) because it seems to always have open sites. I do not recommend it for large RVs.
