It was a cooking day today..and plans have changed...

Another bad night's sleep for me..uhhh I hate that!  I was awaked after 0130 until who knows when.  Guess Ken got up about 0500, stoked the fire and started the coffee, actually had a cup without me! WHAT?  Just kidding..I always have 2 cups and he has 3 cups every morning, but he said he could tell I must have needed the sleep since I didn't hear him in the bedroom. I got up at 0600 and then he joined me in the bedroom for our regular ritual of visiting with our blogging friends etc.  

We talked about the upcoming trip. As our friend George, from "Our Awesome Travels" says "Plans are written in jello". We have to get our tax stuff together and then because we want to visit AZ and head for TN to visit Don and places in between we decided to head for AZ next Monday or Tuesday.  We'll be gone near a month and then come back to Yerington for a bit.  We'll get our tax stuff ready to drop at our CPA in Winnemucca and head for TN or TX or wherever we decide to go first.  

We did the same last year but because we knew we wanted to take the Jayco to AZ and we had to take the cabover to TN because we were bringing back a tractor.  No tractor this year so it's the first year we'll take the Jayco and Tundra.  

It was a damp and cool day here in Yerington, NV

We've had a fire going all day :))

It'll end up costing more money in the long run to do it this way...but..you only live once and who knows when our RV days will come to an end.  So this is the plan...for now :))

Tomorrow (Tues)..we're heading for Washoe Lake State Park with the Jayco.  We need to go to Reno for supplies for the trip (YAY). Wednesday, we'll run around and get things done.  Thursday morning we have an appointment for the Tundra servicing..Ken called and has an appointment at his DR to get cleared from surgery Thursday afternoon.  We'll be camping Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  We'll come home Friday and get ready to head out! YAY..

We watched the show "The Kitchen" this morning and because it's the first of the year, everybody's into health.  One dish they had looked good and I had everything to cook it so that's what i did.  We had some leftover frozen turkey so I made some turkey enchiladas for Ken and veggie ones for me for tomorrow night. It was a good afternoon and the house sure smelled good!

Ken's dinner tonight..Spaghetti squash, broccoli, chicken breast
a light alfredo sauce and cheese..mushrooms and onions..yum..needs to be baked for a short
period and then under broiler for 5 minutes..so we'll see ..
