Boundary County Fairgrounds

What a great, free place to spend the night! The only indication that it's okay for RVers to park at the fairgrounds overnight is a sign limiting parking to 72 hours but I haven't found any negative reviews on the free camping websites. The parking lot is huge. There's a free dump station and a water kiosk - 50 gallons for a quarter.

The park gets a lot of use during the day - softball games, kids at the playground, family gatherings, kids in the skateboard park but it's quiet at night. The weather was cool and wet during our stay so we didn't explore the little downtown area. We did help the local economy by grocery shopping, going to the laundromat (not recommended as there isn't any hot water) and filling our gas tank.
The parking lot is large enough for any RV. Make sure to use Riverside Street to access the fairgrounds. Bonner Street has a tunnel under the railroad tracks with an 11' clearance. Fairgrounds 48.69606, -116.31773
