4th of July, Company, Russell's birthday and a new tiny trailer! :)

Our cute little firecracker on her first 4th of July! πŸ’•

Good morning.  Going to make this as brief as possible and probably too many pictures. We had a fabulous 4th of July weekend. Mason, Chloe, Kody, Jordyn,Diane and Jesse came out starting Thursday. So you know that meant lots of eating and partying. Too much fun! Karen barbecued hamburgers Thursday evening, so that saved me cooking! LOL.

Friday had us enjoying the outdoor kitchen and the kids went for ride with the can am and one quad. They spent some time in the stock tank too. Enchiladas and coleslaw for dinner that night.

Saturday being the 4th we went over to John and Karen's. The Band Next Door played and a mexican food truck was there too. Another great time!

Ken made me this coffee table when I was pregnant with
Eric 52 years ago. Kids always love taking it apart and
attempting to put it back together.

Two beauties enjoying the stock tank. Chloe and Jordyn,
the boys went in a little later

Our special friends, Doug and Michelle brought two 4th
of July glasses when they were here. I had to try one LOL.

Jesse and Diane 😁

Chloe practicing some dance steps

Not a good picture but Mason and Karen enjoying the music

Much better picture πŸ’–

Kody, Jordyn and Wesson. Such a sweet couple and pup!

Sunday everyone got ready to leave after breakfast. Before you know it we were alone again.

On Tuesday Ken had an eye appointment to check on his glaucoma. With the added drops he's been using his eye pressure was down to 15 and 16 for the win! This is from 28 6 months ago.

We went shoe shopping and then that led us to this:

Coleman 13 R. We picked it up today. Pictures next blog.
Now to make it our own! :)

Why you ask? Well, we've been talking about how much we loved our cabover camper when we had it on the truck. Well, we don't want a new truck and we don't want to pay $30,000 plus for a cabover. Even the pop ups are 30,000. So how about a small pull behind for those trips we don't to take the Mansion and with the price of fuel...we felt justified in looking anyway. haha. We all know what happens when you look. Tuesday morning this little cutie will be coming home to us.

Saturday morning we left home and headed for Cool, CA. A special little girl was going to be at Eric and Christinas for a visit. So great grandma and great grandpa headed that way.

She loved watching the fights with her Grandpa Eric πŸ’—

After leaving there we headed to Russell and Lori's place. Russell, our baby, turned 48 on Monday the 13th. WOW!

Had a great time Saturday night as they had friends over and made homemade pizza. It was close to 100 degrees outside but he got it done. We were able to enjoy the evening outside after the sun went down and it  cooled down to a bearable temp.

Sunday was a party at The One Spot in Rocklin, CA. Do it Doggie Style food vendor was there an I have to say the hot dogs were incredible and good prices! Too much fun was had by me LOL and a few others. Every time I turned around someone was buying me a glass of wine. Needless to say I turned in early. Not so much for Russell, Lori and Ken. πŸ˜‚

First time I've seen Aaron have a "legal" beer. Hard to believe
our youngest grand babies are 21!

Eric and Christina

Aaron talking with Veronica

Holly, Chloe, Mason, Lori, Seth and Aaron.

Russell rolling out the pizza dough in the house. He cooked
outside and it was HOT!

Not a fan of Budweiser anymore but they do support
Folds of Honor. They support educational scholarships to spouses
and children of fallen and disabled military members and first
responders.

Monday morning, well closer to 1100 we all went to brunch in Rocklin, CA.

It was Russell's 48th birthday so we had to celebrate and say good bye. Christina was actually meeting friends there, so we got a large table for them and us. It was about a 2 hour brunch so we got out of there close to 1300.

Russell and Lori are taking Aaron's stuff to Santa Barbara today for his last year at UCSB. Poor kid is sharing an apartment right on the beach!

Christina and her mimosa flight. My Morning Margarita.
YUM!

There's the Birthday Boy! Happy 48th Russell!

4th of July. Ken and Russell. Ken wasn't drinking the whiskey
but Jesse was! πŸ’•

It's been a great couple of weeks! Too much too quickly! Headed out with the new trailer on Thursday, we'll be home on Sunday. We're headed to Plymouth, CA where we were a few months ago. John and Karen are there. Hoping Erin (Adam's fiancee can make it by) Adam's on a fire so he's not home. It'll be a quick pack up tomorrow.

Happy Hour with my sweetie! 🍺🍷Have a great evening!
