Just starting with what I remember from last week. LOL. Ken had a hand/wrist follow up appointment in which he got another steroid shot. This time the DR was able to pinpoint exactly where the problem was, as Ken winced pretty good when he touched the right place 😱. He goes back in 6 weeks so we'll see what's up then.

Spent some time getting "The Midget" ready for her big drive about 3 miles up North Bybee Lane. Joel and Randi along with Joe, Rachel, Chris, Sara, Ross and Monica were coming out Wednesday morning to spend a long weekend and we joined them 💞.

This last weekend was Best of The Desert / Vegas to Reno races. This year they were doing it backwards, so Reno to Vegas.
Come Friday morning we were up and out of there just about 0800 for a 30 mile ride through the desert to near Silver Springs, NV. A beautiful ride except it had rained the night before pretty good near Silver Springs so it made for a pretty muddy ride!

Hitting some pretty big mud puddles, the mud came right over the hood and into the cab of the CanAm. First time was a shocker and I said a few 4 letter words. Then it was time to just laugh and deal with it. LOL. Luckily it was cold that morning so I had pants and a hoodie on. By the time we got where we were going I couldn't see out of my sunglasses.
Joe and Rachel were in a Toyota pick up of Joel's. Oh my! They had a windshield, how they ever made it there I'll never know!
We had a wonderful time out there watching all the trucks and side by sides race! Such a great time I barely took any pictures!
Afternoon we headed back to Joel and Randi's property. Not exactly a smooth ride as we hit a big rock and got a flat and bent the rim on one of our front tires. Thank goodness for spares!
After Ken changed the tire we were waiting for everyone else. Well, we're the slowest in the group so when they didn't catch up with us we suspected something was wrong. It was.

Once they got it road ready off we went again. Had a very nice evening back at camp.
Saturday they all went for a ride and we headed for home. Did a few things and then had Happy Hour at John and Karen's before heading back to camp around 1900.
Another nice evening out under the beautiful sky!
Sunday morning it was time to head home for them and us. Champagne Sunday at home.

Monday we were home and I cleaned the Midget to get her ready for another trip. Not sure when and where, but we'll think of something. Ken got her dumped and back where she belongs for now.
This morning at 0700 Ken got a call from Karen, her well was spewing water everywhere. He went over to look at it and a cracked pipe that he's pretty sure he can fix for her. John's back in CA working for the week.
That's about it.
